As a public service to Blog Nation, I am providing liveblog updates to tonight's debate. Away we go...

At the outset, Obama seems nervous. He's got the power red tie going. McCain opted for a striped number with a blue shirt. They both seem cautious in talking about the bailout situation. Oh and now McCain is talking about Eisenhower.... that first military reference took exactly 2 minutes.

A slow start, to say the least.
