McCain is responding to the bombing Iran comment. He should have just let that go. His answer is to talk about Reagan sending troops to Lebanon in 1983 and how he opposed it; then going into Bosnia when Republicans were against it; and opposing Somalia. Looks like John was right each time! What about Iraq? Weren't right on that one, were ya?

God, he is manipulating the death of soldiers and talking about them. It makes me sick. Do everything in your power to make sure my son's death was not in vain. Gag me.

Obama's responding with a reference of his own to a dead soldier. Lovely. The question is, are we making good judgments about how to keep our people safe. We took our eye off of the people who perpetrated 9/11. We are having enormous problems in Afghanistan because of the war in Iraq. Obama is making effective use of McCain quotes. McCain is saying Obama should have gone to Afghanistan. Independents are buying it. He's playing the Iraq domino theory card. That worked really well in Vietnam, which is a capitalist country now.
