Here's little Thursday afternoon Scooby Snack for all you liberales out there. The tail end of Pearl Jam singing Daughter at the Chicago Lollapalooza show the other day, where they segue into one of my all time favorite songs, Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd. Pay attention, there's a twist at the end.
Someone at AT&T apparently didn't like it and censored the anti-Bush part of the song during a "live" cybercast of the concert. They claim it was an accident by a webcast vendor. Hmmmm. During the same concert, Mr. Vedder apparently went on an anti-BP, anti-oil company rant. Dang, wish I could have been there. I expect the powers that be will be taking this clip off YouTube soon enough, so enjoy it while you can.
Oh and I'm officially adding Eddie to the Mancrush list. He's short, liberal, and opinionated. What's not to like?
