Here I am, here I am, here I am, at the first general session of speakers, trying to stay awake. I couldn't fall asleep last night. I think the waiter gave me regular coffee instead of decaf. Regular coffee at 10 pm is not a good idea when you have to be up at 8. Damn that waiter. Damn him.my quasi sunburn isn't helping either. I ended up watching our new CIA director on Meet the Press at 2:30 a.m. I kind of like him. He's a more convincing liar than past Directors, and you have to respect that.
I'm looking around the room here and, as expected, I see a lot of men dressed in the Khaki Uniform: light khaki pants and a polo shirt. I am one of the few men in shorts (and a polo, of course). Someone needs to invent a new casual dress pant for men. I also see a lot of bad hair sweeps and even a misfitted toupe or two, including on one poor regulator who is on the panel I'm listening to and whose enormous head therefore appears on the large screen in front of me. Too bad for him. Why do these guys do this to themselves? I want to go up to them with a pair of clippers and shave their heads.
Well, this is my first-ever blog written entirely on my Blackberry. I'm going to end here because I'm not sure it's going to work. Plus I'm hungry and need coffee. Seacrest out.
